Is it completely custom? If so, is there any similar premade CMS type of programs that will achieve that same look with some customization? I'm just looking to break the vBadvanced mold for my gaming website at http://www.TalkGamer.com.

I know for a fact their former sister site, TG Daily, uses Joomla. When I checked a few years ago, I believe Toms Hardware used Mambo, but I'm not completely certain. You could definitely build something like it using Joomla (and many other CMS'es).

It is also distinclty possible that they have developed their own backend system. Is it true, I am not sure, looks a lot like Joomla.
