MSW 03-15-2001, 01:57 AM Have you seen the price of ensim? jolly 03-15-2001, 02:08 AM The price might be little high. But the control panel is good. You are also into the business of dedicated server and hosting. Which control panel you give with dedicated server. WebDeutsch 03-15-2001, 10:48 AM heard that sphera is quite good and has a dedicated solution as well?!?! cbaker17 03-15-2001, 12:10 PM do you need a 3 level control panel for a dedicated server or for reselling, also please post your email address... geekwannabe 03-15-2001, 06:47 PM Does it matter to you whether you actually run the server or are you prepared to operate a white-label hosting service using other people's infrastructure? bdraco 03-15-2001, 09:00 PM Any hints to what problems you are having ? Slydder 03-16-2001, 08:17 AM There is a new Open Source project for a new control panel solution. We have just made a new Source Forge site as well. Here's the URL: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ngcpanel/ Chuck globe 03-18-2001, 09:34 AM Thank you for replying our post. As a matter of fact we've contacted the very good sphera but they still ask for $280/month or can drop to $200 for >20 servers. It honestly would drive our wallets very slim. We are now testing http://www.smarthostingtools.com that applies a one-time cost we'll tell you about it, they are improving its performances. tnx again globe 03-18-2001, 10:22 AM bdraco..... since nov eht first it has been a long hurting time. "Somebody" here should have got a very long list of problems NEVER solved. This is the best panel we've seen ad it made grow our domains from almost 1000 to 5000 we only have resellers no end.users. But its bugs go thru dns (their reverse must be fiexd almost daily) to neomail..... to exim (no mail sent by server) to ftp (1200 sites with no ftp aren't good to answer their phone calls), by the way what about a normal and simple "ftp change pwd" icon? We needed to teach them to go to ftp/passwdftp.html so many times.. That last feature: Outlook automatic setup is excellent, but what about smtp usage flooding now? Was there the real need to use our own smtp for customers mails? This made out gb/month grow fast and to be worried about direct spamming too. Well there will be much more to say, we had just a love/hate relationship with whm/cp3. now we'd like to get off that stess for awhile that's why we are looking for an alternative: less tools but better reliability. We've got 27 machines right now and just don't need to be asked to fix bugs. Thank you forgive for our outlet ..... there could be much more to say. thewebbie 03-18-2001, 03:15 PM Originally posted by WeinBar Have you seen the price of ensim? What price of Ensim?? If you do not want to buy the complete Ensim solution and host it your self then go to a Hosting Company that sells Ensim Servers with their WEBppliance CP. It won't need to be clean. However, the install will go quicker and easier when clean. Chuck WildWayz 03-21-2001, 10:30 AM Any idea of how much NGControl Panel will cost? Or when it is released? ta James Slydder 03-21-2001, 10:46 AM It's GPL. Should have a working beta inside the next month. Just now getting the help I need to finish it. hehe. Started a source forge project and now the developers are starting to come in. Chuck WildWayz 03-21-2001, 11:00 AM heehee soz for the questions - but what are the features of this software?
