AMD 1900
1GIG Ram
60 Gig Drive
Ensim 3.1
400 Gigs Bandwidth

Client leaving, need someone to take it over. No setup charge $149 a month, $199 a month if you need a sysadmin as well to manage the server.

( Server will be reloaded prior to handing over control so it will be 100% fresh, I will be paying the reload fee as well )

Its a RACKSHACK server.. Which means I prob will not be able to get it reloaded without ensim, There price for dropping another drive in ( 40 gig ) from there website is $79 setup and $29 a month

All I have to say is who cares?

What you pay and what I charge are 2 seperate things..

I am responible for this server, hence I am at risk if a person decides to bail and leave me with a empty server.. I am the only who pays for it when no one is on it.

I am also not charging a setup fee, and paying for the reload.

So what YOU pay means nothing.. Even more so since they do not even sell these types of servers any more.

Go **** in someone elses thread.. Thank you.

Think about it..

It would be like walking into Mcdonalds.. Telling them there burgers stink and are overpriced.. Then ordering one..

Give me a break.

look...

all i was asking is if this was like the one at $99 because i am getting a new one and i was just wondering because i was interested. you sounded like you just wanted to get the price tag off of your hands but now i can see that's not the case. business advice: shut up... the more you talk, the more immature you sound:rolleyes:

Business Advice? Last time I checked the polite way to give such business advice was not publicly.

Look at it this way "rocketsense"..

Maybe you sell trips to the moon leaving from Orlando Florida on a rocket..

Here I come stand right next to your ticket booth with a sign that says
"I took my trip to the moon and it cost me half the price"

What im otherwise trying to say, If you where truly interested in my server, such a comment should of been made to me in email or a pm so it could be discussed.. Maybe I would of been willing to lower the price as long as my costs where covered..

Instead you speak.. And where does that leave me.. I have had 3 people ask me since your post if
1. The server is still open
2. Can they get it for $99 ( which doesnt even cover the cost because of stupid rackshack texas tax )

So you can imagine how ANY business person would be upset..

Matter fact.. In the non-internet world.. If you where standing in front of my shop and did such a thing I would have the right to call the cops and have you removed from my property..

So go on thinking that you are doing the world a "service", or that your a better man then I am.. Thats fine, People jump out of windows and scream "IM SUPERMAN"... They may think they are right.. But in the end.. they still make a nice "SPLAT" when they hit the ground.

lol... at least you've got a sense of humor

...sorry for messing up your thread. I was interested. Oh well. Guess we can't question the guy selling hamburgers for 1/3 more outside of mcdonald's anymore. He'll bite. I say we let this die and get a beer.

Hey let me write up a business plan on that! After Lance Blass comes back from the ISS he might be interested.

I looked at the list of "All Dedicated Servers" at Rackshack and the cheapest one with 1GByte of RAM is $149.00.

projo ~ I don't see these specific machines on there anymore? Just because it has 1GB of RAM doesn't mean it's the same price as the one we both have, you have to look at the other options. I'm pretty aware of what they charge me each month...

I would like another one at a reasonable price cause they are nice. :)

Yes, their configurations are quite varied. I like my $99 white box even if it is the low end. When I need more I will probably give it up for a new configuration. Seems cheaper than upgrading.
