@mods-dont know if i'm in right place - move me if need be(sorry)
can anyone tell me if i can setup client exec so it will let guests have a look like whmcs,
i have tried many ways and when you type myaddress/client/ you just get the username and password. i'd like them to either see offers &sign up or sign up with no comitment and look at the deals,
any ideas?

You don't need to have your offers shown by ClientExec. You can put your offers on your main page, or on an offers page, with "order now" links that take the user to CE.

right and order now links will work, assuming i've setup packages, on it.?
just playing with the settings now. so cant link ranges and offers within unless it's an order link. i know you can do it similar with whmcs and then browse the persons, order, domains, addons, ect.
that'll be fine
thanks for the help ;)

Well, besides setting up packages, you have to set up your plugins so that the accounts get created and the bills get sent, etc.

I've not had much experience with ClientExec, but I did help somebody make the move from CE to WHMCS, they've liked WHMCS quite a bit more so far.
If you have too much trouble with CE you might want to look into WHMCS.

I can't think of any other way off the top of my head, but I would just backup the current database, reinstall CE which will force you to make a new admin user, and then you would need to reupload the old database.

To direct users to the packages page simply point to http://yourdomain.com/ce/signup.php
As stated you need to setup packages for them to appear first. the signup.php page will take your users to a list of package selections that you have setup.
