I reviewed few reseller webhosts on this forum. some offer overselled bandwith and space but have poor features, some are almost perfect but highly slow . I'm asking for some advice in choosing reseller host.

It may help others provide a more accurate recommendation if you could post your:
- webspace required
- bandwidth required
- desired control panel
- server location (if it matters)
- support options offered (if you need more than the standard ticket support)
And finally, your budget as well :agree:

Hello,

How do you know that "...some are almost perfect but highly slow" ? are you downloanding a test file from their servers?

What do you consider almost perfect?

There is no perfection in web hosting... downtimes occur.. disk failures occur... DNS issues happen from time to time .. unexpected things that can take down lots of sites happen (The Planet.. huh?)

Hosts that are reliable and reputable at this time, maybe they won't be the next year.. as I said before, things happen and the industry moves fast.

My advice is to search on Google or specialized hosting reviews sites, then you can search for reviews on WHT and then narrow your options, evaluate what features are important for you, ex, price, space, bandw, support, bells & whistles, etc and make your choice. You can ask pre-sales questions to the hosts you chose, etc

Hi ishco,

I second Rameen's points. Dedicated support is a big one, because as a reseller you will likely not have root access or the ability to restart services, etc. It all depends on what your host permits you.

How many customers do you have, or plan to have? Will you need backup support at night or when you are away? Some hosts will provide this as an option.

If you could better define "almost perfect" that would be helpful for us.

All the best,

David

If you give us some more information as to what your specifications for this reseller package are, I'm sure people will be able to point you in the right direction :)
