View Full Version : HIGH RISK MERCHANT ACCOUNT FOR OSCOMMERCE (OUTSIDE USA)? (pref Authorize.net gateway)

An answer to this question would be EXTREMELY useful for everyone using osCommerce/oscmax...

I have not found a single merchant provider that uses Authorize.net gateway for people outside the USA.

I want to use automatic rebilling and would be nice to have an Authorize and manually charge later function - something which Authorize.net does and is already integrated into osCommerce.

The ONLY option so far I have found that satisfies this (but doesn't use Authorize.net - but at least it seems they give you a module to install into osCommerce to spare coding headaches), is Multicards.com.

Does ANYONE know of anyone else that allows offshore merchant accounts to use Authorize.net, or at least, makes it easy to integrate their gateway into osCommerce/oscmax?

I'm from Australia.

Thank you!

I do not think you will find much if any merchant account outside US that uses Authorize.net

Authnet is essentially US only. Your best bet is to find a payment provider that offers an OSCommerce module to plug in. You may want to check their directory to see which ones are offered there.

Many of the PSP's in Europe have several plug ins to use for their payment gateway, just search on the different companies website and you can find it easily.

The common shopping card systems like OSCommerce are also supported by almost any PSP in Europe.

So you just need to look if those also support the rest of your requirements.

You can see the list of processors to whom authorize.net by searching for processors on their website.

There are many Central/South American acquiring banks who are on FDMS South platform. Generally those banks are also able to board merchants on FDMS Nashville to which Authorize.net is already certified / connected. You just need to ask the different acquirers you talk to what front end data processor they require you to use.

Regarding OS Commerce, there are MANY processors who have already built modules. You can see the list under the payment modules in the addon section at the OSCommerce website.

Best of luck!

fionix: Could you please list a few of these european companies? Google is totally useless.

expitrans: Can you give us a few links to what you mean?

Thanks guys

hii, when you talk about the high risk industry than you must be sure that there are only few good merchant providers around, and they pays ( which is the best part ).

I suggest if you want a rock solid merchant account, then you must go for the rock solid processor, some of them I am throwing in here,

ironbilling.com
gspay.com
paymentasia.com

there are few more but I've used these ones so far

gspay.com and they always paid me just the VbV issues made me mad so much!!! problem for my clients when buying online from my store and I required non Vbv gateway to avoid this issue for now

ironbilling.com using them for since last 2 months and integration was easy, for a day there was a downtime the rest seems good and getting paid weekly on time with them.

paymentasia.com was also good paid me on time, the issues I had with them that sometime you need to do a good healthy communication but they are chinese and its hard to communicate with them, the rest seems ok with them, if you are chinese use them :)

Hi

What are the fee rates of paymentasia?

I looked at gspay and ironbilling, I decided not to use them for some reason... I will have to relook.

I am selling non control meds at the moment and planning to sell control drug as well.

I am looking for a mass dropshipper at the moment to handle my requirement, I paid 11% to gspay.com and at the moment paying 9.5% to ironbilling.com but my payments are safe soo far so its all okay , I am not sure if I want to process for control if the rates remains the same I will be more than glad.

payment asia fees structure is lower than gspay and ironbilling I used to pay 7.% to them

Try Chronopay or WireCard

Both companies have alot of plug ins.

Read bad things about chronoypay leaking customer info, wirecard, i cant find a fee schedule for... its one of those "we do stuff but we will only ambigiously say what" kind of site.

Send a request to Wirecard and I'm sure they will give you rates and fees together with more information.

Contacted chronopay, slow, havent responded, wirecard, responded asking for more info... waiting second reply to actually answer my questions.

I have talked to Authorize.net, officially they are for US people only so anyone outside it is screwed, except perhaps Canada.

I am actually starting to look at adult merchant account places. What a joke. Wirecard ask me more questions than I ask them - wirecard seems like one of those places where you know it should cost $XX, yet they somehow charge $XXX for the same thing. Havent gotten a fee schedule yet however but I wont be suprised if its high. Chronopay got back to me, it seems they will accept you if you are in Europe but if elsewhere chances start slimming.

One question, why are you set on Authorize.net? There are a lot of gateways out there for high risk accouts. High risk accounts are usually taken advantage of if you go with the wrong provider. Best answer to your question is continue your resaerch and find the best partner with a complete solution which includes gateway, shopping cart, and merchant account for high risk and foriegn.

I have now found a good "high risk" merchant account for Australians to use that is not eway or deals with expensive Australian banks.

If anyone wants to know what it is PM me.
