Hello,

I am having a kind of stupid problem. Whenever someone tries to send me an e-mail at alias@domain.com they get a 'unknown user' error where as if the e-mail is sent to username@domain.com I can receive it successfully. Any idea why is this happening?

Also, this is happening with only the main domain.

Delete the alias, save changes, add it again and save.

Make sure the alias is recorded properly in virtusertable. (If you make any corrections, be sure to do a

makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable < /etc/mail/virtusertable

as root.) See if that works.
