Thanks for your time :) ! n e x u s 06-18-2008, 06:18 PM You can easily create one with Excel. PEAK-Bobby 06-18-2008, 06:29 PM A Price list is usually a comparison sheet, so that the end user (client) can see specifically what options you offer at what prices. The end user may want a formal proposal if they are a corporate firm. They would want to see long term pricing, structure, and your mission statement. Best of Luck! 334online 06-18-2008, 10:10 PM This is a link to an older topic. It contains an attachment for an Excel spreadsheet. Don't use the first one you come to - there are revisions further down in the email. Hope this helps. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=287200 edu4vision 06-19-2008, 12:08 AM oh, thanks 334online. Although I don't need it now, but the link you give is very helpful. m_abdelfattah 06-19-2008, 04:22 AM Thanks man, but as I mentioned I need to send a proposal to one of my clients, so this spreadsheet can't be used ! Make your own? m_abdelfattah 06-19-2008, 10:26 AM I don't know what to write how to start :) ? Should I start with about co, then why us, etc. ! Atarim 06-19-2008, 11:09 AM I'm going to guess that your customer wants a piece of paper that he can show to his manager or somebody. Or maybe he just wants to see it himself. Not everybody operates online all the time. So perhaps what you need is the following: Make a document in your favorite word processor with your company logo on it, so it looks professional. Include a table of your plans and their prices. Include a little bit, not too much, of sales-oriented information. That's your price list. Now make a separate document. This one is a letter, also with your logo on it, from you to him. This letter is your proposal. Say how happy you are to present him with the information he requested about your plans, etc. And then offer him a small discount, perhaps, available only to him for a limited time because you are so eager to start providing his hosting needs, etc. Finally, if appropriate, create one more document. This is a signup sheet. If you will be present with him, maybe this isn't needed. If you're mailing the proposal to him, you do need this. You want some way for him to take action and sign up. This form has checkboxes for the plans and options he wants, perhaps agreement to terms, and payment information plus signature. Enclose all three in an envelope, and deliver. You're done. :) Mike - Limestone 06-19-2008, 11:48 AM I'm with The Hosting Team on this one - he's probably seeking something to show to a manager or other decision maker / client. If you produce a professional .doc document with information, you may want to export it to PDF and then email that to the client (I'm assuming it's not a local client that you would present a print-out to). PDF format often adds a little bit more professionalism than sending a .doc for such a document. Primopdf (http://www.primopdf.com) or Adobe Acrobat may be useful. -mike |
