I have been looking for a reasonable web host for a small personal site and ran across http://www.E-Rice.net . Any comments or concerns, has anyone had experience with them yet.

I don't need to burn money like I did at Cyberwings. And yes I know that if you want a realiable, professional host you gotta pay for it. That's why I run my other sites at other hosts, I am just looking for a cheap space to mess around with.

There is no way you are going to get 250 megs of space and 15GB of bandwidth and actually be able to use it, Its easy to say hey here you go you have 250mb of space and 10gb of trasnfer for only 2.50 a month.. but there is a big difference when you actually go to use it and they point out a flaw in there TOS that you violated and thus your account has been cancelled and we keep your year pre-payment.

but seriously, their motto is 'working for stability'.. if you want, i'd just give 'em a try BUT ONLY for a month at a time and see how it goes.. who knows, you may just get lucky.

On the other hand, if things dont work out, you're only out $6 and not $30 (doest look like a money back deal)..:eek:

sounds like a domain that belongs to some sort of car enthusiasts site with honda civic's all over it for some reason :D.
