Hi. How do I give resellers an IP so all the accounts that they create are under their own IP instead of my IP?
I am using CPanel/WHM.
Thanks and Take Care

All namebased accounts are created on your default IP, it's not possible that all of your resellers' namebased accounts will be on a different IP. Gyrbo 08-27-2002, 03:56 PM Your best bet would be to switch to web://cp :D zuby84 08-27-2002, 06:53 PM Does anyone know why CPanel doesn't allow you to do this? Or is it more deeper than a CPanel issue? Thanks mdrussell 08-28-2002, 04:02 AM There has been a feature request in for this at Cpanel for quite some time... no sign of them doing it yet though. ServerSonic 08-29-2002, 01:19 PM Maybe I have a funny installation of CPanel but if I setup the resellers main account (the account that will "own" their other accounts) with a dedicated IP, all of their new accounts are created with the same IP. You can also go in and edit httpd.conf yourself if it doesn't work that way for you. |
