What would "you" charge for this deal?
=============================
Red Hat Linux Operating System
Dual 800Mhz Pentium III Socket 370
MSI Pro266TDMaster Dual Intel Mobo
Western Digital 100GB 7200 8MB Cache
1 Gb Total PC133 Standard RAM Sticks
10mbit Cogent Un-Metered Connection
Include a Cpanel License in the Deal
=============================

Keep in mind:

- An extra 800mhz chip, the dual motherboard, the hard drive, and the extra 512Mb of ram need to be purchased.

- The cost of the Cogent 10mbit connection that offers a maximum of 3,200 Gb of bandwidth @ 100% output roughly.

- The cost of the Cpanel license paid on a monthly basis from Effect Online.

So after all that information, how much would you as a host charge for that kind of deal. Forgive me for being new at this, but everyone was the new guy at one point or another.

Please only respond if you something helpful to say or a kind* suggestion to make.

$1 Just Kidding

I know some plans like that run over $600 per month.

A good place to start would be to look at other plans being offered and base yours off that.

www.isprime.com will allow you to build a plan that can come close to yours. See what they are going to charge you after that.

I tried making the closest package relating to mine on that site, and I got this for a figure. That cannot be right...could it?! :eek3:

I wasn't thinking of charging more than $499.99 - $699.99 with no setup fee on the deal. :blush:

If thats what popped up then thats what it would cost. They also do adult hosting, something I have noticed most dont do here. The big adult hosts have clients that can cover that cost easy. Once and adult site gets real big though they will just co-lo.

Is this something you're thinking of offering? Just look at what it costs you, then add the cost of an exotic holiday ;)
