Guys, I need some input. I'm starting an information site for economics students, both at the undergraduate and graduate level. It will provide resources for choosing classes, information about the different branches of economics, and help with choosing a graduate school or getting a job.

The problem is that I want people to be able to comment and/or give feedback on the different pages. While I will be writing a lot of this myself, I am by no means an expert and I want other students to chime in. I'm not sure what type of setup I should go for. So far I've considered:

Forum - Would be awesome, but getting members and starting threads is a lot of work.
Blog - Not quite the level of interaction I'm going for.
CMS - Probably the best route, but I wouldn't want the stock layout. How would people leave feedback and update content though?
wiki - Good with user feedback/content, but I'm not sure it's the layout scheme I want. I don't want a bunch of "articles", I want "pages".

What do you guys think? Are there any other options out there? Thanks!

I think a wiki is the best format for encouraging community interaction on a repository of information. While a CMS is nice, it will require a lot of work on the user management side of things. There are excellent examples of wikis being used in the manner that you are talking about, one of my favorites is http://www.wowwiki.com.

Software suggestions:
CMS: Drupal or Wordpress
Wiki: MediaWiki or PBWiki
