I' m ready to give a Marathon against spammers who mess up my business e-mail with more than 200 spam e-mails a day.

McAffee's application SPAMKILLER is a close application to what I want to achieve but not the best.

SPAMKILLER Allows you to:

1. Collect e-mail addresses from the text of the spam e-mail and then use them to complain. Again these have to be manually and it is time consuming

2. Send back complaints. Problem is that you send them manually every time and it doesn't allow you to send BULK emails to spammers.

I WANT AN APPLICATION that is better than SPAMKILLER.

1. To idendify e-mail addresses from the text of the unsolicitated e-mail.

2. to use THE ABOVE addresses to send BIG and BULK e-mails back to the relevant spammers' organisation automatically each time they send me an e-mail.

If you KNOW anything that I can use for this purpose better than SPAMKILLER please let me know.

Thank you

Wouldn't that make you a spammer too? Not every IP is valid - nor even the source of the problem - that would mean much more problems and do you really want to pay for the bandwidth to spam back ? Bad idea IMHO :D

200 per day is not as bad as it can get :)

Realize that sending large messages, e.g. threats or some such, to people can be considered mail bombing and many network administrators will have your ISP cancel your service.

i dont know if this is with every spammer, but they all seem to use fake email addresses, i have replied to some spams with complaints and they ALL bounce back, your idea may bring you more problems, everytime you reply a spam, you get the bounced.

Why bother? Just report and forget.. you are not going to change the world or even bother it - report them to your isp and forget.. they will too :)

Fight by notifying people of the spam you get. Notify your ISP and notify the ISP that the spammer sent the email from (you can determine that from the header). Notify the spammer's ISP's upstream too.

That's honestly the best you can do. Or get some sort of spam-blocking application/service and forget about it.

Sweetmom is right i m up to the limit too. My e-mail became unusable anyway.

I also want to fight back Spam with Spam. The same spam that I get. I want to make their organisation's e-mails UNUSABLE and FULL OF RUBISH.

This is a very bad feeling that I have about those people.

Thanks.

If you are with me.....Lets Kill them together.

It's best just to filter it. Fighting back, can backfire on you.

I don't see why everyone has such a problem with spam. Unless you are using an email provider like hotmail, you shouldn't be getting spam. Just watch where you paste your email address and you'll be fine. Use an alternate email like hotmail/yahoo when signing up for things and you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah. On my Verizon account I've received 1-2 SPAM in the past year. And, my work account I've never received any. Although, the general staff addresses do get some. But, those are very common names.

uhm...wrong. spammers create bots which troll domain names. they don't need an address just a domain name. then they start sending emails to that domain name. eventually one of them will get opened and then they're systems will figure out your address scheme.

so you think you wanna report them? nice try...that WILL backfire on you. you may take out your email address and your isp info from the spam but guess what? within the spam are graphics and links with id #'s which identify that particular spam to the spammer.

so when you send the email and headers to the isp, the isp forwards them to the spammer and voila...they have validated your email address.

you can't win as long as the united states government refuses to intervene and make spamming the same type of offense and sending unsolicited faxes.

Yeah. We've got probed in the past for common usernames. But, only at our .com domain, not our .net where our users are.

The biggest porblem is that people get so sensetive about spamming that they start complaining about targeted E-mail, like requests for reciprical links.

If you are looking for a versatile application for mail filtering and processing, you can try out VAMP (http://virdi-software.com/vamp) . It is not a spam-killer per se, but it CAN do a lot of the things that you seem to want.

Dear Dev. You are my brother!!!!!

I assure you that the ap. has already been subject to test in our Labs. HAHAHAHAH

Jocking aside, I hope that this will fill my dream. Meanwhile I am trying to find ways of how can somebody litterally kill all those involved in spam activities.

THANKS
