I have a dedicated box, and are trying to setup the hostname and nameservers with a domain hosted at GoDaddy.
I looked around in the GoDaddy control panel and the closest thing I managed to find to setup A host names were their "Total DNS Control Panel".
So I used it to setup host.xxxx.com, ns1.xxxx.com and ns2.xxxx.com as "A (Host)" and removed the listings under cnames and mx records.
The questions I have is if this is the correct way to set it up? I have talked with their support staff over the phone but of course none of them could verify that I had set it up correctly.
Can anyone else who have used GoDaddy to setup hostname/nameservers verify if I have done it correctly or if I have screwed up.
Thanks
