I believe both companies are using a product from RightNow Technologies.

We also prefer to use Rightnow.

What costs are associated if using Rightnow? Is it monthly or a one-time fee?

Upon last check... 2 Year License fee. Around 80k

Is it worth it?

No.

It's worth __A LOT___ but not 80k. This is part of the reason we have begun the hunt for a new solution and/or building one inhouse. If RNW doesn't come through for us by the end of our term we'll be dropping them.
