Sure, ditto if a giant robot monkey comes through the data center and smashes it :D. Or if, as in the case of one of our mailservers a couple of months ago, the go$d#^&$@ RAID card goes bad. As Chicken said, the dual drives are meant for hard drive failure protection, but they do not preclude having good backups! allan |
