I own a RaQ 550, and am writing a PHP program for use on it. It came with PHP 4.0.6 installed, however the programming requires 4.2.2. I went to upgrade to 4.2.2, and had many problems with the installation, and now PHP does not work on my system (the admin pages even have PHP errors). I need help ASAP as this program is for a client, and I need it running tomorrow. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Hollingshead

Without seeing any error files or knowing what could be dieing it would be hard to fix. You have Shell access? Have you looked throught the logs?

What problems did you have with the installation? Be specific, and i'm sure someone will be able to help.

The problem is that I don't know enough about the system to work with it. I'm in the process of finding a server administrator, but have yet to do that. Some php pages just show no content. Others (admin pages) provide the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: i18n_new() in /usr/sausalito/ui/libPhp/I18n.php on line 47

I have shell access.
I am willing to pay someone to fix the current problem. Thanks.

Try

you need to ensure "register_globals = on" is in php.ini, that's all

I checked it out...

Somebody else f*ckd up the config.

Some files of cobalt were missing...
I copied them from my raq550 and it worked again...
