Can anyone surf to www.focalhosting.com? My domains with them suddenly went down, I cannot connect to their site, and cannot access my pop emails. I cannot also access their forums.

What I do know is that it is not due to my Internet connection, else I will not be able to post this email.

Other than that... I can't access their site.

Oh dear, what can I do now? I have emailed focalhosting support but so far no reply. Oh dear, let's hope this gets resolved soome. Will I be able to do anything?

Keep your pants on. While it is upsetting, I can asure you that he is on it!
When it comes to support, this man is one of the best.... bank on it.
You could be with a host, many I could name, that would not be on it...................................

Yep, Alex is one of the best around in terms of hosting support. Always gives me a reply promptly. However, I do not know if he could communicate the problem to me as I think that the focal hosting mail server is also down...thus, Alex, do give me a shout if you get this email. Would appreciate it if you could pm me or email me. Cheers!

My webistes have been down for more than 2 1/2 hours. Still no word from Alex on the status of the downtime. I tried surfing to Focalhosting's forums page, but it seems to be down too...

Are there anyone out there hosted on focalhosting? Anyone else heard anything at all? I really hope that things get better soon. Sigh!

Thanks for the info. Actually, the ip address coressponds to omega.focalhosting.com. Do you have a direct ip link to the forums section? Also, could you connect to your site using your domain name? My websites are on non-static ips, thus, I really do not know what they are now. Is there anyway to find out? Many thanks!

yes I can see the site from here. No problems.

For those whom are in the same boat as me, I managed to retrieve me emails by changing the pop mail server to omega.focalhosting.com.

However, I still cannot access the forums section and my webistes are still down...sigh! :bawling:

I've had problems retrieving mail all day. Changing
the pop mail server info worked. Thanks!

If you will check the forums at focalhosting, I think Alex has again showed he is a stand up guy!

I agree also! Alex has the best customer service I've seen.
He replies to your emails within half a day, if not sooner.
He always takes care of any problems quickly.
