Looking for good, cheap hosting for this smaller site:

http://www.episodeii.com

Get's about 700,000 "successful requests" a month, get's about 64,000 "successful requests for pages" a month. Details here: http://www.episodeii.com/webstats/monthly/Feb2001.html

Doesn't take up much space, maybe 100mb, but I'd like room to grow.

Any good solutions?

What price range are you looking at and what kind of features do you require? This will help us narrow down you choices and recommend some hosts to suit your needs.

Standard features I guess, CGI support, Perl.

I was looking for something like no more than 20-40 bucks a month. Lower would be great, I'm hoping for lower.

I recommend Worldzone Pro's Quad Package - $144 yearly. That provides 12 GB bandwidth and 400MB space, as well as CGI and Perl.

So they are offering 12 GB of bandwidth and 400 MB of space for only $12 per month. I have to wonder why the offer is so much lower than the industry average for those features. Even at the cheapest rates, bandwidth can cost a webhost between $2 and $7 per GB per month. With any of the discount hosts you want to check how many users they are putting on a single server.
