View Full Version : How much memory does cPanel typically take up?

I've been having memory problems, and in talking with ServInt techs, it appears my server uses usually 200-300MB when doing nothing. They said the memory seemed to be used mainly by cPanel/Spamassassin/Apache. Is that normal? It sounds really high to me. I terminated Spamassassin but memory still seems high.

By the way, there were three accounts on the server. I don't know if that means multiple cPanels running, or what.

Apache will always use as much available/free memory that it can. That's normal.

There will only be 1 copy of the software running on the server at any given time. What build and version of cPanel/WHM are you using?
