I need to get hold of a decent php chat script?
I would prefer one that had all the works (icons, html, profile, registration, etc.)

Free would be great, some reasonably priced scripts would do just fine.

Thanks

first place i'd look: hotscripts.com, then zend.com, then run a search on google, then ask here again :)

I don't like the constant refreshing that's required for a php chat script and have noticed comments made by people on a slow connection that it's very frustrating to use.

Would it be safe to assume that JS is king in this regard?

id say java is the best way to go for chat clients it doesnt need ot refresh like most PHP/CGI chat clients, only prob is that it takes a while to configure and not many hosts like it on there servers

Do you know any Java Script or Applet for that? Where can be found? I am interesting to chat my customers personally.
