Hi all,
I would like to run my own hosting server. I want to be able to have a site that will recieve hosting registration, and a script that will automatically create an user account on my server like most companies have, like hostgator, and setup for my own nameservers, and etc. I'm running the latest version of Mac os X server leopard 10.5.3. Im not sure that any of you have used it before, but it has a great gui. It is all based on linux. OSX Server does web hosting mail service ftp dns and everything else..
Please any help or info would be appreciated.

what script are available though? if i am willing to i will purchase an intel core pc from psystar and run ubuntu linux server... but it is not gui..

Most of the automated account scripts seem to depend on the control panel used such as cPanel

You would probably be better off with a good billing package and create the accounts manually, in my opinion automatic account creation is risky anyway.

I've used Modernbill before, it's not too bad. I prefer custom made applications these days
