Say if I purchased a 179.99 license 2 months ago and decided that it needed to go onto another site, will modernbill ask me to buy another one or can I keep my current?

As long as you are moving the liceses completely to another site and not simply installing another instance of the license on another site, mordernbill should have no problems. We purchased our licenses and a few days later switched without any problems;)
