Yeah, found that, bit poor really and we don't use OpenSRS now, they were just like the PHP - Poor.

It's been a while, but we use PHP and OpenSRS to perform WHOIS queries as public WHOIS servers have a limit on how many queries you can make and are generally not as reliable than to query straight into OpenSRS using it's API.

Right now, we are wrapping up the first phase of a control panel that manages our servers and starting next year, will begin incorporating form based registration via the reseller area of the control panel. All we will be doing is authorizing a transfer or new registration before anything reaches OpenSRS.

OpenSRS also have a Perl based script if you find PHP, "poor".

I don't know why you consider PHP "poor" or the class poor. I spent alot of time hunting down resources to integrate into OpenSRS, and Colin's PHP class is the only thing I could find to help ease the integration.

Yeah, it's not the only one, there is another, but neither do the job very well. We've ditched OpenSRS anyway because TBH they have to be one of the least helpful companies out there for use by web hosts.
