I'm pretty new to this forum. So far, I read a lot more than I post. One thing is really of concern to me though. By reading the posts here, I have seen that there is a teenager (let's call him Tim) running a that apparently scammed a lot of people out of money. Weeks ago, this person claimed he had processed all refunds or was in the process of doing so.

Tonight, I saw a thread started by another member that mentioned Tim's contact information. For some reason, the thread was closed. The mod who closed it referred to yet another thread on the subject which was 75 pages long and now also closed. I am really unsure of the reason you guys would want to close these threads and allow a teenage child, who has scammed people out of money and time, to continue doing so.

So, you are basically saying that a teenage boy who scammed people out of money is now dictating which threads can be opened and closed? Sorry :rolleyes: but this is more than a little shocking to me.

I come to this forum for information and truth. I am now wondering if the only truth that is allowed is the "good" kind of truth. The "bad" kind of truth doesn't seem to be welcomed here. Please tell me if I am missing something?

Most of the people Timmah ripped off were WHT members...

You would think someone who gets clients from here, rips them off, would be banned :rolleyes:

Well, since I have found two different web hosts on this forum, I am a little ticked about the whole thing. It makes me question the validity of it all. If a known thief is allowed to post here and continue to advertise, why would I come to this site for advice on a web hosting company? Do you see my problem with this?

I think the mods are just trying to be as diplomatic about the situation. Xstrike in particular seems to be really working with the involved parties to get this solved.

Should they ban Timmy? I don't know, that's up to them. But it doesn't make the forum any less useful to anyone either way. There are still records here of all the skeletons in Timmy's closet, so prospective customers can research and be warned beforehand, whether he's banned or not.

Well considering xstrike has edited and locked one of my posts...

If timmah has it his way, he'd have them wiped out...

Anyone remember his email to xstrike? Saying no refund would be made if the post wasn't removed?

Andrew, if the threads are closed, and continue to sink to page 2, 3, 4 etc of the forums, a new person like myself may never see them. It just makes me leary of people who advertise here now as it's apparent that someone scammed money, got away with it, and the threads are locked regardless. So basically, to me, the mods who close it are condoning his actions. Personally, I think the threads should remain open until all refunds have been processed and the "Tim" person should be banned from posting until all refunds are processed. Then again, no one asked for my opinion. :blush:

Yeah, I remember that...unbelievable. I just don't want to jump on the 'ban Timmy' bandwagon just yet...though it does look like the train is about to leave the station on that one.

You're absolutely right.

For God Sakes, Ive given my explanation to closing the threads, and for everyone that is ignorant out there (naming no names) I took it upon myself to close the thread, TimPD had no input except for to agree with me a date for processing the refunds.

I have also been requested by other VERY reputable members of WHT to close the thread, so please, im going to be nice once more and have given you the above explanation, future threads will not be tolerated unless they are on a completely different complaint, if people want to check TimPD's history they can do, I mean they do have a few nice threads to read and keep them reading for at least a full day.

GraphxGirl, DONT YOU LISTEN, I said, if anyone has a problem with me closing the threads to e-mail me, are you really that ignorant? :angry:

Thread Closed, Any Future threads relating to me closing threads will simply be closed and the members involved will be subject to a 1 week ban while this whole thing calms down, I left the previous thread open for a long time for everyone to say what they wanted to say, people are simply saying crap now, and thats all the other thread was turning into.

So Please Lets Let The Whole TimPD situation calm down, any new issues feel free to post, any existing issues, post and be ready to be banned for 1 week to "cool down"

If it makes you all happy, I will place TimPD and any company he is involved in on a 1 month advertising ban while they sort things out!!
