Any comment on this company? Vinayak_Sharma 06-04-2008, 04:56 PM CpanelDirect is run by InterServer, Inc. But you should know that for those price you only get license and no support. TarballX 06-04-2008, 05:12 PM CpanelDirect is run by InterServer, Inc. But you should know that for those price you only get license and no support. Yes, I was aware of that. They were still the cheapest I could find as of today, and I needed the license today. Ordered, paid with paypal, and the license was setup added instantly. Seems good so far :agree: SoftDux 06-05-2008, 07:04 AM CpanelDirect is run by InterServer, Inc. But you should know that for those price you only get license and no support. But will they submit a support ticket to cPanel, or do you have to submit the ticket yourself? PCS-Chris 06-05-2008, 07:37 AM You can submit tickets to cPanel youself, just need to quite the Support Access Number which you can get from inside WHM. SoftDux 06-05-2008, 07:39 AM hey Chris, so do you use them? Dan_EZPZ 06-05-2008, 07:40 AM Its worth paying for the support IMO. If you have a problem at least you have someone to turn to. touchsupport.com do licenses for $43 a month. TinmaN 06-05-2008, 12:06 PM What does that include, WHM/Cpanel for 1 server unlimited domains? psousa 10-08-2008, 09:15 AM I think I never had request cPanel support. I discuss problems only on cPanel forums. So, support is not so important for me. Thanks. webgater Network 10-08-2008, 11:10 AM i used cpaneldirect.net no cheap from them but no support if you need support you can use cpanel support or froums PCS-Chris 10-08-2008, 11:47 AM hey Chris, so do you use them? No we use www.buycpanel.com (http://www.buycpanel.com) although I will openly admit their billing can be a nightmare sometimes. JFOC 10-08-2008, 01:22 PM cpaneldirect is the cheapest and support will directly from cpanel staff at cpanel ticket system. just aware that cpanel now has limitation on maximum support you could reach. SoFiMaN 10-08-2008, 06:33 PM No we use www.buycpanel.com (http://www.buycpanel.com) although I will openly admit their billing can be a nightmare sometimes. What issues do you have with their billing? I find them to be good, as I don't even need to contact them but rarely, its all automated (new license, ip change, canceling). serverfactor 10-09-2008, 02:43 AM For a single license, cPanelDirect.net is the cheapest But if you are looking for bulk licensing, you may want to have a look at http://www.instantcpanellicense.com/ - Which is operated by HostDime You can also try contacting them for a price match, as their home page states Price Match Guarantee Did you find a cheaper price for your cPanel License? We will match any external cPanel license price you can find Regards BuyCPanel 10-09-2008, 05:40 PM PCS-Chris, Give us a call or email - we'd be happy to get any issues with your billing or PayPal cPanel license subscriptions fixed-up. N|Kitmitto 10-12-2008, 08:41 PM Try checking with your DC. Mine got me a really good price. SoftDux 10-13-2008, 03:32 AM we use(d) cpaneldirect.net and the issue with no-support isn't aproblem with me, since we can submit support issues with cPanel directly. And I prefer it that way, cause then we can then work with the cPanel tech directly, and don't need to go forth & back with a 3rd tech as well. But, we recently had to move a client's VPS to another server, in another country, and it took them short of 5 days before the IP address was changed. I know that IP address changes happen within seconds, but since they don't offer any support, you need to email them, and they took 2 days to reply to email, and another 2 days after we send them an email confirmation, before they made the IP address change. No, I suppose this is fine for someone who's doing this as a hobby, but as a business, it's not. It's very unprofessional and made us look bad. We planned the move, and had to postpone it for another week, since we prefer to move VPS's over weekends. So, I think I'll just move the few external licenses that we have to someone else. Looking @ buycpanel.com's website, it seems like they have an option where you can submit an IP address change on their website, so this should speed things up a bit. ... just my 2c HostDime 10-13-2008, 09:13 AM For a single license, cPanelDirect.net is the cheapest But if you are looking for bulk licensing, you may want to have a look at http://www.instantcpanellicense.com/ - Which is operated by HostDime You can also try contacting them for a price match, as their home page states Regards Feel free to give us a call or email, we are always happy to assist in anyway we can. JonnyQuags 10-13-2008, 10:43 AM If an IP is previously licensed it can take a few days to get the IP moved. An IP change will take seconds only if it hasn't been previously registered. Cpanel did implement a new policy change but even as of a dew days ago it can still take over 48 hours for some approvals to go through. The transfer process should be significantly quicker very soon. This will allow us to quickly transfer licenses in that are with defunct hosting companies or no longer existent cPanel license providers. LinuxStandard 10-14-2008, 05:22 AM you can always request support from cpanel directly. Saving few $ is worth it, when you are able to get good support from the developers. |
