We used to charge $600 for a cdp server + $150 maintenance. So on average you spent $750 per 25 agents.

$750 / 25 = $30... lets call it ~$25 per agent for CDP Server cost. So we have bundled that cost into the agent.

Also your comparison is not accurate for $75 to $150. You really mean $100 -> $150. Our pricing now includes the first year of support and maintenance.

A lot of customers told us it was deceiving to break out the maintenance price on the first year as it made it seem less expensive than it was. So before it was really $75 + 25 (maintenance).

The agent was only increased in price by $25 effectively once you count for the fact we no longer charge for the CDP Server and we include all maintenance in the price.

A lot of users also said our pricing was not straightforward because we had a separate CDP Server cost. So we would say... Agent is $75. Well that was true... but total cost was $75 + $25 (maintenance) + $750 for the CDP Server.

Now we can say the Agent is $150 and thats TOTAL COST.

We also found people wanted to run only one or a few agents per CDP Server for a variety of reasons. By buying a CDP Server for every one or two agents it made it completely un-affordable.
