I STRONGLY suggest turning on the dot indicators for the board. It would help a great deal with everyone :)

I'm also in favor of this... but it doesn't look too promising. :(

Because it's been brought up a few times before as well...

It would sure be a great help, so you could see at a glance the threads you were subscribed to when you open a particular forum. Let's hope the powers that be will reconsider it :)

I can't recall it ever being brought up before, however I personally think it is the greatest invention ever (second place goes to the wheel).

I'll have to see if there's any reason they aren't here (can't think of why), and unfortunately try to get someone with some spare time to deal with a relatively minor issue (not always the easiest, which I do understand).

When you post in a thread, the little folder will show a little dot so you can better keep track of which threads you posted in.

Anyways, as you can see, this would be extremely useful for members and staff alike :D

If anyone knows the name of that little bugger and the location, it might speed up the 'getting it' process. I'm not even sure we have the icon, however it may be there, might have been accidentally deleted, I dunno exactly.

It is not a hack, simply an option in the vBulletin Options area. You can go to that page, and then use the Find function to search for dot icon.

I found it. It may have been turned off to save resources, however I'll ask to see if we're stable enough now to try it. If everyone got used to it and we had to kill it, then this would be sad.

How come WHT is the only VB running forum without dots?!

I have enabled it on a trial run, but even the text next to it says it can be 'resource intensive' and I'm not 100% clear on why it was turned off, so I'm sure it was for a reason.

But it was disabled long before WHT was moved over to RS...

I'd like to think these servers would be able to handle it. ;)

I cant imagine why it wouldn't be able to, but then again warnings are there for a reason. :)
