Reverse DNS entry requests are made with the networking department via helpdesk. They are usually taken care of within 20-30 minutes.

For security reasons, customers must file a ticket to cancel services via our online helpdesk. Due to the way we have our billing system setup, upgrade requests must be forwarded to our sales dept.

Servers are monitored internally for uptime, but we also offer an external 3rd party monitoring account on request.

At this time, we do not offer an online vulnerability scanner. However, we can install a security suite on cPanel servers that will test over 50 segments of the system to verify whether they are secured properly.

Customers may login to the client center to view invoices, submit payment, and update their billing details (including CC numbers).

You may visit https://my.makosolutions.com to view our customer center. We do not offer any demo accounts to our client center or helpdesk for security reasons. Public registration is disabled as well; full featured helpdesk accounts are given only to MakoSolutions customers. Only the sales and abuse departments are open to public ticket creation.

The build staff installs CentOS 5 x86 by default (x64 available as well). However, you can request CentOS 4.5 by noting this in the comments section of the order form. The latest stable version of every control panel is installed as well.

All dedicated server orders are pro-rated as we bill these on the 5th of every month. The "Total Recurring" is the total monthly fee for your configured server. Any coupons applied to your account are there for the life of your service. :)

The "Subtotal" is the payment due for service that covers the period between now and July 5th (we pro-rate all dedicated servers to the 5th). Your total recurring amount is the monthly fee for your configured server.

If you see "-$0.00 USD" as the discount, this means that the coupon you chose does not belong to the configured server. Please make sure you are using the correct coupon for each server type. You may clear your shopping cart and follow the sale link in our system to re-configure your server and apply the correct coupon.

As long as the content is legal/allowed by our AUP/TOS, we do not prohibit any specific transport medium. Legal adult content is allowed on all of these sale servers as well.

The "torrent" format is allowed, but it must be legal content.

You may install Webmin on your server, however it will not be covered by our management policy.

All servers are connected to a 100Mbps port unless you choose a 10Mbps unmetered or 10/20/50Mbps dedicated bandwidth plan. Bandwidth is configurable during the checkout process.

If you plan on utilizing 100mbps, you will probably exceed the default 1000GB outbound bandwidth allotment quickly. Please keep in mind that the datacenter staff reserves the right to cap a server if it is affecting other customers' service. I would suggest you purchase an unmetered or dedicated bandwidth optioned service especially for file distribution purposes such as torrents.
