Has anyone directly registered their domain with Nominet (UK)?
Who on earth would pay £94 (in VAT)?
If so, what are the benefits?

No benefits, except you can register the domain names in the following zones: .ltd.uk, and .plc.uk. RS Shamil 06-02-2008, 01:32 PM probably companies might pay then :) rony 06-02-2008, 05:41 PM Basically that's the fallback option if there is a problem with your registrar, at least you have the option to go to the registry and "save" your domain for a high price, better then loosing it when your registrar is somehow gone...
