I was wondering how in the resller world you make it so when a client signs up he/she gets instant activation

We do this with Client Exec!

We get our "Remote Access Key" from WHM then we apply this within Server Settings with Client Exec then run cron jobs to run every "*" hours/minutes/seconds and so on. With Cron Jobs we set it up with "Order Processing".

So that when a Customer Signs up and Pays for the service it will activate their account instantly and set it up through WHM ...

If you choose to create an account within your whm, it will be instant activated, however the smartest would be to use a billing software (whmcs for advanced users and account lab + for new users). Both scripts got the option instant create account after order has been placed, or create account after payment is resieved.

Yes, Client Exec is a Billing Application also :)

But yes both the Scripts provided by Smilie do the same :)

I will add to this, He is absolutely correct. What some spammers do is Pay and then cancel this payment to have access to this absolutely free.

This is until the service is cancelled. Bringing in the Fraud Prevention and Telephone Can minimise this it can still be bypassed.

With WHMCS you get a free MaxMind MinFraud license (which is an automatic Fraud Checking procedure). Although MaxMind is not a substitution for verifying orders, it will allow you to create them instantly and then that YOU determine to be fraud could then be cancelled and refunded.

I can't speak for ClientExec because I've never used it but I'm a VERY firm believer in the quality of WHMCS. The support and dev team is VERY active and 99% of the time when there is an issue the lead dev responds within an hour or less.

I use CE for one of my hosting brands and I love it. It's a tad lightweight when compared to MB, but that's what I like about it. :)
