so when i create accounts for my customers they can use ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com ?? (i do have my own name servers.

thanks!

go to www.enom.com and click on log-in and log in. Then click on "my domains", then click on the domain you want to manage... and you will find where to change the name servers.

As for your clients you have to choose an API. You can either use registry rocket, and your clients can log in through that and manage their domains. Or you can sign up for PDQ and your clients can use that to log in and manage their domains.

i think you misunderstood me.

I know where to change the DNS, what i wanted was to make MY domain a nameserver. i registered hoststation.net, so i wanted to make my domain as a nameserver, such as NS1.HOSTSTATION.NET NS2.HOSTSTATION.NET, but i just found out that enom doesnt support this.

Enom does support regisering of nameservers.

Log in and click on the domains tab, then click on register DNS

Once there enter

NS1.HOSTSTATION.NET and the relevant IP then do it again for NS2.HOSTSTATION.NET

Nameservers have to have unique IPs so you will need your host to assign you 2 ips.

Unfortunatly I dont have time to sit on the forums all day!

In the end if you cannot register DNS through the registrar you can always go straight to the source and register it through them, if only I could remeber the address.

You register the nameservers with INTERNIC and the other Registrars will pick them up. To do that you need to be the owner of the IP netblock or have your host/ISP do that for you if they are the owners.

I think you have to e-mail NameCheap's support and ask them to register nameservers for you. At least that's how it worked for me 3 months ago.

Hope this helps.
