Hi,

I'm looking for some internap bandwidth. I tried to get a server from eservers.biz, it was they were offering a server with 400gb internap bw, 1.6ghz 1gb of ram...

But unfortunately, i never got the servers. waited 3 weeks. the only reason why i went with that, is because they were offernig internap bandwidth...

if you look at all the threads about eservers/hostmania, you'll see what i'm talking about.

anyhow, i know of one place already which is fluidhosting. ive already emailed them, but i thought id look around for other places too

So does anyone know of any good/reliable places that have some quality low latency bandwidth ?

if you know any, please list some.

thanks

Thats ok. I didnt notice it was hsots till you mentioned it.

www.digitalprinceton.net offers bandwidth multihomed from the following:
UUNET
SPRINT
AOL
TELEGLOBE
AT&T
CABLE&WIRELESS
VERIO
BBN
DIGEX
PSI

They charge $1.17 a gig as a base price. I know this because I used to have a dedicated server with them. (In fact I'm trying to sell the server at the moment)

I honestly don't think you will find another provider of Internap for the price that was offered by eservers, so if you looking for 400 GB of internap, you better have a lot of dough to shell out. I would suggest you contact FluidHosting.com as they are in Internap, and I have had the chance to talk to the people @ FH quite a few times, and they are all great people. Im sure they can make you a great deal, but nothing that is as close to what eservers offered.

Edit: I don't know how I missed the part of your post that said you had already contacted fluid, but I did, so excuse me :D

Must be brain dead after reading that TimPD / earhost thread!

Try someone in 56marietta (global compass) dedicatedhq.com and they offer good deals it uses Internap bandwidth. I always trace though Internap so do others.

So dedicatedhq.com = webauthorities ?? or ??

prices look very attractive

i noticed "Designed by paradise-designs.net" on dedicatedhq.com - that sure made me chuckle. after reading that long thread about timpd/paradise-designs being a scam, i thought it was kinda funny :)

Why does their Web site live in singly-homed Qwest address space? Is that the wrong URL?

The main digitalprinceton website is hosted on a server in a different datacenter.

traceroute www.netwerkin.com or xavier.digitalprinceton.net Both of these are at exodus in jersey city, where their dedicated servers are located.

OK, that makes sense.

For what it's worth, a lot of Exodus' peering was discontinued after the C&W acquisition. Now they primarily are using C&W's backbone, as I understand it. For example, if I trace to netwerkin.com via Sprint, it's handed off to C&W at Equinix in Virginia, and goes from there to the Exodus datacenter.

Although C&W generally has good peering, so it's not a huge difference in most cases.
