Optigold ISP >>

I have downloaded this program and am attempting to get it to work on my server. However, neither of my printers will print the documentation (just my luck) and I am having a dickens of a time getting it to work so that it interfaces with the server in real-time as advertised.

I am attempting to work on a Unix box (Red Hat 6.2) running Apache.

Also I use Web Host Manager and CPanel to manage my accounts... I don't know what the interface is going to work like here, or if it's even possible.

If you tried this and couldn't get it to work... or if you HAVE been able to get it to work... and would not mind helping me out with a couple of things... could you please e-mail me at billing@door-county.net ~

...or of course feel free to post here as I am sure others are wondering how to get this working as well.

It seems like an extraordinarily powerful program, am just having a challenge getting it to do what it's supposed to. :) TIA!!!

OGI IS A VERY POWERFUL program. It's main function is automating and maintaining backend information for all of your customers and making sure they are invoiced, billed, and tracked accordingly.

The only thing about it is it takes a lot of tweaking to get it how you want it, but what doesn't?

Are you running it on a Unix Box?

I am guessing I can't because I can't install FM Server on UNIX. They only support Mac and Win for server environments. *rolls eyes*

When I get my cable connection I can fire up my old PowerMac and use that to run it but.... what a pain. ;)

I hadn't even thought to try to install it on my personal server, but maybe I will now. I just downloaded the OS X version last week and was going to at least manage my accounts & bookkeeping locally on it. I am using phpManager as my web-based interface.

hrmmmmm Suppose I should go re-read the interactions etc. and see if my server meets the requirements, because that would be quite nifty if it does.
