Had a question on pay-per-click. Didn't quite understand how it worked, so you bid money for a certain keyword that people would search for? And how much does this usually cost?

The cost will vary a lot, depending on the terms you bid for, the service you're using and competitiveness in it (and the CTR rate in the case of systems like Google Adwords). Pay per click does exist outside the search engines world too though. eDedi 05-20-2008, 03:57 AM Pay per click does exist outside the search engines world but i find that you dont get as much value from PPC unless its on a VERY targeted website I spend about $2,000 on PPC per month and it gets me a nice return, I try and stay away from pricey keywords as much as i can. jrianto 05-20-2008, 04:00 PM With pay per click you bid your way up the chart. One example of PPC outside search engines are webhostingstuff.com. They have some nice traffic, PPC rate are still better than directly with AdWords. |
