I've seen that most succesful hosting companies have pictures of people on their frontpage....I guess this is to give the visitor a rest assured that there actually are real people behind the portal, and that they can be confident they will receive top quality services. But for example, that cool gandhi fella och akashik.net, is that like, the CEO or something? I mean, basically, where do the hosts get their people pictures?? can you buy them from a website, or do they take the pics themselves???
Thanks !

We get all of ours from:
http://www.modelsforthefrontpageofwebhosts.com/
You had better hurry if you are going to use them. My understanding is that they were unable to get their third round of funding, and their site may be shut down any minute now.

Someone who needs a high-res picture of a businesswoman (like a magazine or corporation doing their annual report) and doesn't want to hire a model and a pro photographer. The high-res versions of the stock photos you find on the Web are intended for print; you'd never need more than the low-res version for a website.

Yep,
72 dpi is all you need for web.. 400dpi for magazine, and anything more is photo quality

Atleast hosting24-7.com e-mailed you back. I investiageted a dedicated server with them and they never got back to me. I doubt it is truly unlimited.
