I'm looking to sign up as a reseller with either opensrs or enom, and I trying to differentiate between the two. I'm pretty clear about being a reseller for opensrs as well as all the terms and conditions. However I'm not so sure about enom. Does enom require resellers to deposit a certain amount (opensrs requires $250) to start reselling domain names? I can't seem to find any information about this on the website. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

You can go with one of their subresellers, in this case you don't have to deposit money. You have the option to use Registry Rocket and collect the commissions of your sales. You can also use PDQ ($99 / year), a professional domain registration website.

If you just want to register domain names through their control panel you will have to deposit a minimum of $100.

Just ask if there are any other questions.

For eNom, there is no minimum deposit required if you pay by cheque or money order. If you want to pay by credit card, then they require a $100 deposit to "fill up" your initial account balance. Then, each purchase lowers the available balance..

You can sign up as an eNom reseller by looking for people in the forums here who offer low prices. Many offer under $8 for free and even cheaper for a setup fee.

Cheers!

does this mean that I have to top up my account once my balance reaches a certain amount (similar to opensrs)?

No, once your balance is below $7 (well not exactly $7, below the price you get domains), you won't be able to register a domain. You will need to refill your account with another $100 to register another domain name.

Same correction I noted above.. you are not bound to the $100 minimum unless you desire to use a credit card to "fill up" your account balance. You can deposit ANY amount if you use a cheque or money order.
