Okay, I will be starting a free cpanel host.

I found a reliable and cheap reseller, also allows overselling but relied.

But I actually has no expeirince at all, will it be easy to manage it myself through WHM?

ANy advices?

yes it will but you will need:

cPanel/WHM Reseller Hosting for yourself.
An Automated billing software such as WHMCS, WHM Auto Pilot, ModernBill or iPanel which will allows to you give free hosting and put banner ads etc on your clients website.

I would suggest you get yourself some kind of client management script. Having a few accounts is easy to be managed via WHM, but if you start to get more then it will not be easy to keep track of everyone.

Edit: I see someone else beat me to it with the suggestion ;-)

The best advice is dont :)

You are heading for a minefield and a whole host of headaches. To start with if it proves popular the host will limit the number of accounts you can create in your whm account.

It certainly wont be 'easy' you open yourself up to a whole host of abuse problems by offereing anything 'free' - you will be targeted by people wanting to send spam, fraud, anything and everything you think of as 'bad' the person behind it uses free hosting accounts.

You need to keep an eye on free hosting accounts more than you do paid ones as the potential for them to be dodgy hugely increases. The workload managing free acounts is a LOT more than paid ones.

I totally agree with Lewcy. Managing free hosting accounts will be more difficult than paid ones. Moreover with paid accounts you will only get the serious and more reliable customers.

Reseller on free webhosting//no ! Free webhoting is popular and i suggest you own your own servers as you will get a headake if you forget to pay an invoice or the company has server problems

I recommend PremiumReseller if you are going to start something simular to what you are proposing. You can then install a script such as WHMCS and have it auto sign-up your clients.

They have provided me with hosting for various ventures and haven't given me the slightest problem.

The less they pay, the more they want.
If it's free, they will expect the world,
best advice you will get is as Lewcy and Amritrr have hinted at:
Just Don't Do It.

Do they also allow free hosting? Make sure you check their TOS because most hostproviders will specifically say that you are not allowed to offer free hosting.

Bull's eye! I scrolled down to see if someone has already said this.

If you are using reseller hosting, most of the providers will prohibit you from offering free hosting. Free hosting accounts are the ones that are abused the most. Some people use free hosting accounts like toilet paper. :stickout:

Someones already may have suggested this but what i would do id put ads on the pages and ask customers to pay a one off fee to remove ads, or even charge for a package with more storage and BW. :D

I agree with both of you, specially when you are on a reseller account don't offer free hosting, reseller company will not let you do this either.
