Akash 08-23-2002, 09:49 PM then we need a perl/python etc forum too.... maybe just make a programming forum? Selpaw 08-23-2002, 09:53 PM Popularity? Phrozen 08-23-2002, 10:36 PM Or most likely because WHT is sponsoring PHP.net. phpcoder 08-24-2002, 03:37 AM I think PHP.net sponsors WHT.... not 100% sure though. Or maybe its some friendly ad exchanging :) combs 08-24-2002, 06:39 AM Yes, I agree with you. Aside from that the only weird thing is that my traceroute is bouncing up and down the coast. Goes from ATL -> VA -> Dallas -> Houston Weird... RackFive 08-25-2002, 06:16 PM whats the point of host free a site like php.net ??? get customers??? RackFive 08-25-2002, 07:49 PM ok forget it Acronym BOY 08-26-2002, 12:11 AM Probably becuase php.net doesnt have its own forums, and instead of trying to create a new forum (becuase there is nothing worse than a forum with 2 members) they thought they could work out a nice deal. If you really dont like the business decisions WHT makes there are other forums out there.
