View Full Version : Hosting Services?
Does anyone know of a really good hosting site that offers unlimited space, reliable up time, good customer service, and at a low price. The people I'm with now offer unlimited space and a low price, however won't answer my e-mails and my page is always going down.
Does anyone know of a really good hosting site that offers unlimited space, reliable up time, good customer service, and at a low price. I know of many that advertise unlimited space. I also know of many with reliable uptime, good service, even at a low price. But I don't know of any off hand that offer all of the above if for no other reason than "good service" meaning it would have to be "honest" and Unlimited Space does not equal an honest offer.
If you can judge how much space you actually require and broaden your search to hosts that offer packages with the amount of space you require then I think you'll have a better chance at finding quite a few options to choose from.
Well with my web site I let people download MP3s from local bands. I suppose a good start would be 1gb of space. The space is something I can't do without, because the MP3s are the backbone of the site.
Geek3 08-23-2002, 08:57 PM well.. let me just tell you.. unlimited space + great support + low price doesn't mix. Even with good hosts. Perhaps maybe you'll find unlimited space with low price... but watch out.
HOWEVER.. in some cases... in SOME cases.. you may just get lucky. Personally, i dont know of any place with 'unlimited' space... although i know I stand open for correction.
:) Good Luck!

I'll find for you one really good host that offers these, when you'll find for me one really good unlimited hard disk drive :stickout
You know what I mean when I say unlimited!
SalmanKhana 08-23-2002, 09:13 PM Goat you will have mp3's on it ? so u should look for unlimited bandwidth :D rather than unlimted space..
space here aint an issue cuz i have friends whos servers are 10% used in terms of space and 90% in terms of bandwidth.

There is no such thing as unlimited. Probably because they were overselling their bandwidth and space that you are experiencing the level of downtime.
You might want to post this in the Web Hosting Request forum and see who bites.
Akash 08-23-2002, 09:23 PM edit: MODs: post (and related ones in this thread) may be deleted, problem solved :)
xavopower 08-23-2002, 09:25 PM well, i was only trying to help a customer, however, if you feel so strongly about it, i will remove it, sorry to have caused any troubles.

i understand your position and i know where you're coming from (i was once a customer myself), but rules are rules and I think we should respect this well-established community and abide by them. PM me if you'd like to discuss the issue further.
and who does it really hurt? It kills competition, there are specific advertising forums to post requests/offers in
Thanks to those that helped me out, but for now I'm off to work!
