i have fund money via paypal account and some my customers chargeback money so my funds is back to my paypal account, now my namecheap account is locked i send email to Fruad department and have reply:

Taking into consideration the difficulties you have with paying us via wire transfer, we have unlocked your Namecheap account for you to have opportunity to pay us via credit card, paypal or google checkout. However, please do not use the same paypal account because of which there was a chargeback. If $100 are not deposited on your account within 24 hours we will be forced to lock your account again and disable all the the domains under the account.

i try add funds via my visa virtual card but my card is declined and again my account is locked i am 3 years old customer and 40+ domain is registred. i can scan visa virtual information and send it to namecheap it can help me?

Unfortunately those are the only ways we will acccept payment and they are sufficient. In most cases we would not even allow you to make a payment with a credit card after a chargeback.

If you have a credit card you should have no problem taking a trip to your bank and sending a wire.

Haha yeah.

My account just got locked simply cause of 3 failed credit card tries.
Here I am with some 70 domains, and no warning as to what may happen.
I can't believe this.

And look at this cryptic message

You have three failed credit card transactions. As a policy to avoid any possible abuse of credit cards user accounts will be locked if they have three failed credit card transactions within 24 hrs. So your account is locked now.

How am I supposed to know what to do? How long is my account locked for even?

I am effectively locked out from something I purchased legitimately, I am out in nowhere and can't check my balance so my way to see if I have money is to just try to transfer some. I tried 2 times earlier in the day and thought I would receive paycheck today but guess not.

Hello Coax,

The lock is for 24 hours and is there to protect against credit card fraud. All you have to do is log into our live chat which is available 24/7 and request that your account be unlocked and it will be immediately.

OK, thanks a lot, but unfortunately the woman I spoke to wasn't auhtorized to unlock it so I opened a ticket with the fraud department.

Either way 24 hours isn't a problem.

I think you should change the lock message though, it is a bit cryptic.

Actually, I just had a word with the tech that told you that and advised him he should have quickly looked over your account and unlocked it. We have seperate procedures for accounts locked for fraud by our fraud department and for accounts locked in your situation. He is locating your ticket and will be taking care of that shortly.

Regarding the site message, believe it or not I just rewrote those myself this last week and handed them over to be updated. I wrote two long and thorough messages that applied to seperate lock situations with instructions on what our clients should do. As you can see that hasn't been done yet and you can rest assured I will be pointing this thread out to the person responsible.

Yah it has happened to me once before. Just locked for 24 hours, so you should be ok.
