View Full Version : Webalizer 2.1
Surfer 03-12-2001, 06:13 AM is there anyone that have successfully installed this newer version on their RAQ4 from the package at this site:
http://www.wire.net.my/dl2.htm
Any problems? Problems with MySQL and the preinstalled PHP 4.0.3?
Is it better to install the 1.3 version? Anyone have the 1.3 version with the MySQL package?
Thanks
Starhost 03-12-2001, 10:02 AM I've got it running on my raq3 And I'm running PHP 4.0.4pl1 and the MySql pkg package.
It runs better then webalizer 1.3 (that version didn't make stats for all accounts)
Is it RaQ 3 compatible? I want to install webalizer 2.x but I'm just a newbie... I'm learning a lot here, but I still consider myself a newbie :)
Surfer 03-13-2001, 05:31 AM Starhost, I am guessing that you compiled the PHP version yourself? Did you install the webalizer from the package link supplied above?
Why I am asking is that I have heard that when you install the webalizer 2.1 on a RAQ4 with preinstalled PHP4.0.3 it gets deactivated?
Thanks
Starhost 03-13-2001, 11:00 AM Yes I compiled PHP 4.0.4pl1 on my own. And Yes I used the link above to install webalizer 2.0*
I had some problems installing it, because I forgot to uninstall webalizer 1.3 So do that first before installing a new version.

domus 03-13-2001, 05:05 PM yes it went over my old php instalation that was screwed up with other version of webalizer
Did anyone install the raq3 version of webalizer2.04 ????
Snowbird122 05-20-2001, 04:09 PM I just uninstalled webalizer 1.3 and installed webalizer 2.03 on my raq4i. It screwed up my php and now I need to reinstall php. Is there a .pkg that installs php? If not, how do I install php now?
Chicken 05-21-2001, 02:05 AM No pkg for php, and search the forums for installation directions for php (as it has been discussed before). It seems odd to me that installing this script would have altered php in any way, but I'm not familiar with the problem, so maybe it is so.
SI-Chris 05-21-2001, 05:10 AM I *think* what happens is that that particular Webalizer pkg overwrites your php.ini file, and that's what causes PHP to fail. If you have a backup copy of your php.ini file from before you installed Weblizer, try replacing the new with the old.
