A user types at his laptop. Suddenly, he hears the dreaded click of his modem. His link to the outside world had been severed, and he was thrusted into the netherworld between real life and the Internet. His world was in sudden chaos!

He immediately goes into Dialup Networking and attempts to reestablish the link. It sputters and dies again. The user was now sweating profusely, unable to utter a single word and unable to type or use the touchpad. He was going through withdraw.

Suddenly, AIM tries to connect, and in the process activates the automatic dialer. After a few moments his link to the outside world had been reestablished. Another tragedy had been averted, and everyone lived happily ever after.

It's a poor shame. People like him need fiber running into their homes, if not complete and total abstinance from the Internet. :( hehe. :)

What are you planning to tell here and for what? I suppose you got wrong entry in forum.

I just felt like telling a random story. And yes, I did get disconnected, but I did not act like the main character. :D
