...eventually.

I had this EXTREMELY good idea: all web hosts chip a couple of thousand each, then we turn our servers into honeypots with (supposedly) secret and crucial military papers. Osama bin Laden wants to get it so he "hacks" one of our computers. Meanwhile, Ned Patter keeps an eye on the honey pot, because he has wired his mom's PC at the bathroom upstairs with the NOC that all 24,000 of our servers are colocated. At exactly 3:49am Ned sees 2 ICQ messages along with an animated GIF that shows Britney Spears nude (an obvious fake). But that's actually the steganographic cryptogram for the signal to decrypt the most important message: "Go!". We need to cross-triangulate all the IP's that Osama will log in from, apparently using his highly portable Sinclair Research 48K computer. At the first light of dawn, Ned pulls the plug to the datacenter and all the admins get the IP of Osama in their beeper. We locate Osama and inform the Army, Navy and Marines. Osama is caught and we split the $20 million of the reward

I think my idea is cool.

You sure this will catch him and not an Al-Queida cell somewhere in the world? What will stop anyone who isn't Osama from getting in?

count me in :) altho a minor adjustment to the plans,forget the marines, let me catch him. then you only need to freight back a few small bags of the remains rather then pay for a seat on an airplane. ill just swim back. but dont let the brits find him. if they do they cant extradite him to a country that would see him swing for his crimes.

Umm.. sounds like you plan on eating him and bringing the leftovers back in a doggy bag? :eek:

P.S. Make mental note.. never sit next to a guy named Richy carrying ziplocks in hand on an airplane. :uhh:

nahhh, suppose i could curry him, but i was planning on more a bit of fun with a cricket bat for a few days. im sure theres quite a few people that would like a go at him. 10 cents a hit we could make quite a bit.
