I know the OS has differences, but in terms of web hosting... ADEhost 08-25-2002, 01:27 AM Originally posted by johnder What's the difference between WIN NT and WIN 2K in a reseller context? I know the OS has differences, but in terms of web hosting... more options are being developed in the win2k platform vrs. the NT platform. NT has reached the end of it's cycle and will only be like those application that still require win 3.1 or win 95 or DOS. I truely don't know if NT has already phased out of M$ bug fixing cycle, I know win 98 the stop support in 2 more years or so. win2k support is to end in 2008 ... who knows mike |
