If you are looking for a web-based client, I would recommend Crafty Syntax. We use it and have no problems. You can has as many departments as you like, and you can make any modifications you like (the code is open source).

Agreed with lcwsoft. Live Help is the way to go by Crafty Syntax.

You can also download a FREE program inside of Live Help called LiveClient2 that is an application installed on your computer to connect to the webserver to chat directly thru Live Help on your site, without being on your site at all.

Its good stuff, definately worth a shot!

I tried to install crafty syntax, but an error occurs after click install button from setup.php . can't connect to MySql and can't find the database, any one can tell me what to do?

We used to use HelpCentreLive before we moved to LiveHelp Messenger (paid product).

HCL was stopped once upon a time, but is now being developed again and I've been watching it and testing it closely and its come a long way since it started development again.

Might be worth taking a look and trying it out. They have a community of members always willing to help out with it.

Does your host has Fantastico De Luxe installed on your servers? You can install Crafty Syntax directly from there, instead of downloading it from the web and creating a database manually. By the way, installing it from Fantastico will automatically create a database for you, instantly.

Thanks for reply, No my host hasn't Fantastico, but i fixed the error, i thought that crafty syntax will create the database automatically. but i tried to create the database and run crafty syntax again, and it works well.
