View Full Version : Sites' admin missing

Does anyone ever experienced "missing" files for the admin section of sites? When I log in as server admin for my Raq4, when I go to edit a site's settings, it displays a 404 file not found. It seems that something is corrupt here.

If someone could show me some direction in restoring this, that would be great. I suppose I could delete the individual sites (only some are corrupt) and create them again, but this still leaves the default site, (because you can't delete it), corrupt.

This may have been answered before, but I don't know what to search (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=) for?

So when you click to manage a site you get page not found ?

I had a server DOS attached and right after I wasn't able to get to anything but the main server CP all the sites CP's were gone.

You have to manually backup the site, delete it, then recreate and restore it from command line. When you make the site it will re make all the files that got lost, corrupt.

Would I run into any "complications" if I manually deleted the main site (that you can't delete from the server admin panel) and restored it?

If you can get into the main server admin panel, then you should do it from there.

manually deleting it is risky.

but that's just the thing, you can't delete the main site once you've set up your raq the first time. The trash can button beside it is greyed out.

Don't manually delete it. If you added any .pkg's right before this problem started, try uninstalling the pkg. If you changed the host name of the server before this problem started, try putting it back to what it was and save it.
