View Full Version : Just a Question

I think I know the answer to the question and this is probably going to turn into a troll thread but I am going to ask anyway.

Someone started a thread the other day, stating something about how a host conducted busines. I replied to the thread and basically said that I disagreed with the way the company in question conducted their support and stated a few ways HostPhenom (my company) and other companies conduct their support.

I can see how a mod would think that I was trying to make my company look better but I was just making a statement on how I disagreed to the companies ways and if I was that company I would do things the way mine does.

The mods deleted my post and I received a warning. I am not even sure the question I am asking and I do understand how huge this forum is amongst the Industry and I'm sure it depends on the mod but can some of you lighten up a bit. I know you can't distinquish who is trying to advertise on someone's thread bashing another company so I'm not criticizing. Just wondering, was this a mod that has his own way's of ruling on threads/posts or if any one of the mods looked at the thread have made the same ruling?

We all follow the same rules, the ones that are publicly available for everyone to see. It's possible that a mistake has been made, or one moderator saw something differently that the rest of us didn't see. I don't know the details of your exact situation.

In either case, we don't discuss private details on the forum. Contact us at the HelpDesk (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/helpdesk/). If you'd only like the Leaders (Admins) to read it, you can send it to that department. Only they have access.
