View Full Version : Not receiving some e-mails

I am experiencing a problem where certain e-mails to certain addresses are never received nor bounced.

I use aliasing when signing up at web sites, so, for instance, this e-mail would be webhostingtalk@mydomain.com. For the most part, it works.

Since moving to a new host there are certain e-mails I just don't get. One of them is Propay e-mails. E-mails sent from the Propay network to propaysales@mydomain.com are never received, nor are they bounced. If *I* send an e-mail from another network to this address, it works.

In addition, I stopped getting e-mails from the forums which my host uses along with their ticketing system (it worked at one time). When I changed it to my ISP e-mail address (which I normally don't use) it started working.

I suspect (just a hunch) that it may be a CPanel and/or WHM bug, since out of the four hosts I have been with I have only seen it happen on the two who use that combo.

Any ideas?

I suspect that your new host would know the problem. Maybe they're subscribed to some RBL that is blocking them?

There is a ticket open but so far the cause is a mystery. To my knowledge, there are no blacklist problems.

Please check that you have not blocked the email addresses. I do not find big problem. Maybe possible the IDs are wrong.
