Hi all,
just curious ... where did you incorporate your company?
For web hosting company, do you need to bother with "Foreign Corp Qualification" stuff when your clients are outside the state?
- bewildered by incorporation complexity -

Arizona.
Foreign corp qualification is if you have incorporated in one state, and you want to have a 'nexus' (point of presence) for that same corporation in another state. Typically, you don't have to do this, but talk with a tax lawyer.

I know your state.....
Now for a serious answer....
Generally most appropriate as a small business to incorporate in the state in which your office is located. You need to register in foreign corporations only in states in which you will have a physical presence. Delaware and Nevada incorporations make sense for companies that have physical presences and conduct business in many states, because of reduced fees and taxes. However, if you only have the one location, incorporating outside that state will only add costs to your business.
